Welcome to our brand new page featuring the finest lodges and hotels we are currently working with. By no means is this list exhaustive, but after 13 years of constant investigation and clients’ feedback, we are confident with these choices. There will be something to suit each of our clients. If your choice is not here, it does not mean we do not work with them. We cannot cover and have relationships with every structure, but the ones we have chosen are certainly in line with our philosophy and feedback has being extremely positive. We do not show prices due to the fact that there are three pricing seasons, the prices get outdated quickly and you should be aware that Santiago de Chile holds some mega sized conferences throughout the year, pushing Santiago’s 187 hotels into 100% occupancy. Needless to say, some of the smaller lodges can be hard to get into, but as we are normally designing tours way ahead of the curve, we are more often than not able to get our clients first choice.

SANTIAGO DE CHILE
Santiago de Chile – Atton El Bosque
Any place within Santiago is at your fingertips from this hotel. The only word that will come to mind when stepping through the door way is ‘comfort’. Their beautiful swimming pool, providing a very breath-taking view of Santiago, is the perfect place to relax. Great price quality ratio (PQR)!
Santiago de Chile – Carmenere Eco
With just 5 rooms, this really is a boutique hotel. It is hard to get in, but with enough notice no problem, With its wine theme, this lodge features all the mod cons, such as a rainfall shower and iPad in the room for your use. Breakfast is a sumptuous affair, service levels are high and communal and semi private spaces abound.
Santiago de Chile – Cumbres Lastarria
You will really enjoy the breakfast on the 8th floor at their onsite restaurant (Punto Ocho), which enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding neighborhood of Lastarria, as well as the skyline of Santiago. Creative modern design meets utility and great pricing in the centrally placed zone of Lastarria with plenty of vibe and places to eat, drink and browse at your doorstep.
Santiago de Chile – Holiday Inn Airport
Perfect to stay in when having an early morning or late night flight.
Santiago de Chile – Lastarria Boutique
Situated in the heart of Santiago’s newest district, Lastarria, this hotel leads the pack opening up in this delightful barrio. Although rooms are not huge, they make clever use of the space and are all set in a stylish and elegant manner. A delightful small garden, which the bar and restaurant overlook, finishes it off with interesting art.
Santiago de Chile – Le Reve Boutique
Le Reve Boutique is a small delightful lodge, with 31 rooms and suites. It is extremely well located, with boundless touristic attractions in walking distance. This is intimate atmosphere combined with French design and delightful terraces or balconies. Everything is as it should be, breakfast and sleep quality hits all the right notes. Staff eager to please and none more so than Ruben, Gabriel, Pablo & Sergio. The room typology that we suggest is the deluxe king with terrace or balcony.
Santiago de Chile – Luciano K
Luciano K is art deco design with 38 rooms and has one of the coolest rooftop bars and restaurants in Santiago. The restoration has kept all the original features such as the stained glass windows, the parquet flooring and interestingly enough Santiago’s first ever elevator in a house (still in use). The hotel melds history with modernity and guests are thrilled.
Santiago de Chile – Noi Vitacura
This location is in the chicest street of Santiago, perfect to wander along to some of the best restaurants. The whole place feels like a little bit of heaven and tranquility. The rooms have some great touches, such as the electronic curtains and the wonderful pillows. Highly recommended. Comments of clients are very positive and we are pleased using it.
Santiago de Chile – Orly
We really like this charming hotel. The lovely common areas enjoy English-style country patterns with wooden floors and windows, all adding to its charm. Breakfast is served in the glass-roofed conservatory. For an intimate stay, Orly is really the way to go. Great PQR!
Santiago de Chile – Plaza El Bosque Ebro
Plaza El Bosque Ebro is located in Las Condes, probably the most upscale neighbourhood in Santiago de Chile and very close to many restaurants and services. We think this is the best priced five stars hotel in Santiago. This exclusive lodge provides high-end accommodations with contemporary flair, many amenities, a convenient location and a much-praised rooftop restaurant with sweeping panoramic views. Best of all, thanks to the local ownership, Ebro has a more Chilean flavour than the other chain-hotel counterparts. The spacious rooms are warm and comfortable, with a living area with a sliding door and their executive suites have a fully stocked kitchenette that provides an urban pied-a-terre for both business and leisure travellers.
Santiago de Chile – The Aubrey
The Aubrey opened its doors in March 2010 for those seeking for a stylish and design-driven boutique hotel with personalized service and direct access to some of best attractions of Santiago de Chile. The location is the colourful neighbourhood of Bellavista, just steps away from many interesting restaurants and cultural activities. The Aubrey is a restored 1927 mansion that pays homage to the Bellavista’s storied past, while dazzling with modern aesthetic. The fifteen light and airy rooms are individually sized and decorated, featuring dark wood, copper lamps, polished parquet floors and geometrically patterned linens.
Santiago de Chile – The Singular Lastarria
The Singular Lastarria is sister hotel to the Singular Patagonia. Sharing the same ethos of individual style, top service and excellent food as the original, the Singular Lastarria also comes with a prime urban location in one of the historic and most village-like neighbourhoods of Santiago. Enrique Concha, one of the top local interior designers, has created interiors that feel timeless and elegant mixing limited edition prints, handcrafted furniture and polished parquet floors. The rooms are larger than average, most of which have a small balcony and integrated sitting area. The sultry lobby bar and library has the feel of a private members club with its brass angle-poise lamps, studded leather armchairs and marble bar. The Singular Lastarria also boasts an indulgent subterranean SPA with four treatment rooms, jacuzzis, saunas and steam rooms. We love it.
Valparaiso – Casadoca Boutique
Casadoca Boutique is the place to rest from your travels in luxury. Enjoy a walk around their beautiful gardens, the fresh sea air and the silence. The nearest beach is only one minute away and the town of Concon is less than a 15-minute walk. You can also enjoy their SPA facilities such as the hot tub, the sauna or a relaxing massage. From the living area, some of the suites and the dining area you can look out over the sea. Their breakfast, lunch and dinners are prepared with only the best products, fresh and exclusive and taste delicious. It is a rather small boutique hotel, but it is obvious that all staff has been carefully trained: everyone in every capacity is gracious and efficient. The suites are just wonderful, luxurious design and very comfortable. Casadoca Boutique is definitely a good choice.
Valparaiso – Casa Galos
In the hospitality business, it is all about people and Jorge and Nicole, who run Casa Galos, get it and in bundles. Housed in the original corrugated iron form (so iconic in Valpo), the nine rooms are testament to Chile’s unending fascination for modern utilitarian interior deign coupled with historic materials and original features. The rooftop is a joy to be on and views from Cerro Alegre are world class. Bleached wooden floors, soothing pastels and outsized chairs abound. We prefer the suite superior rooms, where possible.
Valparaiso – Casa Higueras
The hills of Valparaiso have enjoyed a boom of boutique hotels in the last decade, but Casa Higueras is a cut above the rest. Casa Higueras exemplifies a new standard. The two million dollars restoration tucked twenty spacious rooms (many with ocean-view terraces) into a former mansion’s elegant craftsman-style interior with five stars flair. Dark wooden floors and corridors create a very calm interior and the views across the bay and back up the hill are spectacular. Expect mod cons (keyless entry and noise-reducing windows) and plenty of pampering. A stunning terraced garden cascades to an infinity pool. Casa Higueras is the perfect choice in Valparaiso.
Valparaiso – Palacio Astoreca
Think of big rooms, wooden floors, rain head showers, tall ceilings and beautiful views over the bay below. Palacio Astoreca is set in a colonial house overlooking the bay of Valparaiso. Suites include seating areas and in-room tubs, terraces and balconies. A SPA, a pool, a hot tub and a hamam complete the line-up. We think it is worth the extra to have rooms with a view, as it is something to marvel. Palacio Astoreca is a revamped old-fashioned free small charming hotel in the middle of the unique and delightfully bohemian city of Valpo, as it is affectionately known.
Valparaiso – Voga Guest House
As soon as you enter the Voga, you feel you are home. With Valpo’s bohemia chic and steep gradients, you need a place that feels like your own oasis and this place is just that. Think of exposed red brick, incredible chandeliers and a bed you will not want to leave. With plenty of excellent restaurants nearby.
Valparaiso – Zero
This is a space that opens doors to travellers that are always willing to discover a new side of adventure. It will be a privilege to witness the life of the port. This hotel assures you the best of views over the bay of Valparaiso. From here, you will soak up the aromas and the flavours of the delicious breakfast and the warmth of a glass of wine.
IN THE VINEYARDS
Chile Wine Valleys – San Antonio Valley – Casa Marin Guest House
Casa Marin is one of our favourite wineries in Chile. The wines are just incredible and you will be received like one of the family. Breakfast, fruit, teas and coffees are included. Rustic yet charming, the views are spectacular and the guesthouse is simple but lovely and it has a small kitchen area. You are right in the vineyards with stunning views. Dinner is optional and will be cooked especially for you. The wine tasting with Maria Luz Marin is wonderful. She is a formidable force in Chile’s wine industry and all together amazing human being. Rustic yet charming, the views are just spectacular and the guesthouse is simple but lovely.
Chile Wine Valleys – San Antonio Valley – La Casona/Matetic Winery
La Casona in the Matetic Winery was built in the early 1900s and is characteristic of the traditional countryside of Chile of the time. In 2004, it was completely renovated and elegantly decorated by a renowned designer and architect: Max Cumming. It offers seven spacious rooms fitted with either a king size bed or two single beds, central heating, an en-suite bathroom and a private terrace. It has a meeting hall for up to 45 people, a pool table, a fireplace and an honesty bar. You can also relax in the lovely outdoor swimming pool that overlooks the gardens and the vineyards.
Chile Wine Valleys – Maipo Valley – Casa Real/Santa Rita Winery
We certainly love Casa Real in the Santa Rita Winery for the superb service, the well-appointed and cavernous rooms, the lashings of history that comes with a stay here. Casa Real is full of antiques with every room with a story built around the various owners over the two hundred years of Chilean History. Breakfast is as one would expect: fruit, breads, fresh baked good, eggs to order, ham, cheese, bacon, coffee and fresh orange juice. The food is a sumptuous affair. We suggest a walk in the gorgeous grounds, where pre-dinner cocktails are served. Dinner is really an event and one that we are sure you will delight in, not just for the food, but the setting and ambiance. Dinner is always accompanied by some of the great wines of Santa Rita. Outside of the incredible grounds, there is also a pool gym, a recently renovated private chapel and delightful fountains. We think this represents a great stay. It is important to remember that this is not a hotel per se, as such wi-fi is not that strong and you must remember that there may be groups staying there. It is a perfect stop between the north-western zone and the southern (Colchagua Valley).
Chile Wine Valleys – Cachapaol Valley – Casa Silva Boutique
One of our favourite boutique hotel and winery in Cachapoal Valley. The winery was the first in Chile to produce Sauvignon Gris and it also was instrumental in the discovery of the Carmenere grape variety. The tasting is excellent and the lunch in front of the polo field and the backdrop of the Andes is just stunning. Expect gorgeous linens, wonderful sleep quality and unobtrusive staff.
Chile Wine Valleys – Millahue Valley – VIK
VIK is a more than a luxury hotel, situated on a hill overlooking large parts of the property with magnificent views including the Andes Mountain Range in the distance. VIK features ultra modern design and artwork to die for. Spacious terraces, a dining room and incredible spa and pool areas. The hotel offers the guests breathtaking views, a splendid reservoir (an artificial lake spanning 60 hectares), the magnificent vineyards and the rest of the estate. It is a pleasure to spend some time at VIK discovering Millahue, the place of gold. VIK also offers superb cuisine, focusing on typical local dishes of Chile made with fresh local products and especially prepared to complement their wine list. The chef can tailor dishes to your individual preferences. They offer barbecues in the surrounding forest with panoramic views out over the breathtaking landscape. If you are coming to VIK let it be for a minimum of 2 nights.
Chile Wine Valleys – Colchagua Valley – Cava Colchagua Boutique
This is something else. If you really want your trip to be devoted to wine, you need to sleep in Cava Colchagua. They offer wine barrels that are transformed into comfortable and luxurious bedrooms. There is a large bed inside and private bathrooms built in the cabin. The service is just great and will do anything to make your stay perfect. Besides that, the surroundings are gorgeous and the location works well. It is just in the centre of Colchagua Valley.
Chile Wine Valleys – Colchagua Valley – Colchagua Camp
This is just an extraordinary accommodation. Even if you are not the camping type of person, this will definitely be something you will never regret. The tents are romantic, luxurious and cosy, inside there is a warm comfortable bed and it offers you a breath-taking view over the Andes. Come out of your tent and the staff will have fired up your private hot tub and there is a glass of wine waiting for you. The fresh air and the wonderful surroundings will give to you new energy for your travels. The local wineries are only 10 minutes away and Santa Cruz is only a 20-minute drive. All in all, we think this is a different and unforgettable experience.
Chile Wine Valleys – Colchagua Valley – Lapostolle Residence
In our opinion, Lapostolle Residence is simply one of the best accommodations in South America. Everything about this winery and lodge is perfection: the architecture, the wines, the food, the views: this place has it all. We realize it is a total splurge, but every single client who has stayed here has thanked us. All the meals with as much wine as you want are fully included. When you actually break down all the inclusions (including the superb wine tastings at the neighboring wineries), we see incredible value here. This is a once in a lifetime experience.
Chile Wine Valleys – Colchagua Valley – Noi Blend
We have worked with Noi Hotels all over Chile for many years and it has been a pleasure. This property has opened late in 2014 in a region where we desperately needed some new room inventory under 1,000 USD a night. With just thirteen rooms and situated outside of Santa Cruz, this is a stylish take on a typical rustic estancia of Chile. Noi Blend is intimate and relaxed. We like the rooms’ clean lines and mix of wood and brick complimented by some quickly style elements. Breakfast is a delight and the pool and grounds are a wonderful place to enjoy a wine prior to dinner.
Chile Wine Valleys – Maule Valley – J. Bouchon Mingre Wine Lodge
The hacienda-style home, built in 1890, will take you back to colonial times. You might enjoy a siesta or a soak in the uniquely crafted barrel hot tub. For dinner, you will experience a traditional asado and, of course, continue tasting the many fine wines of J. Bouchon.
Chile Wine Valleys – Maule Valley – Tabonko Guest House/Gillmore Winery
The Cabernet Franc from Gillmore is a fantastic wine that every mortal should taste, perhaps South America’s finest. Gillmore’s guest house, Tabonko, is drop dead gorgeous, away from crowds. This is a intimate and high-end lodge that deserves to be considered. SPA facilities with wine-based therapies such as a red wine bath are on tap should you need to be smothered in wine in other ways. The family management makes any stay here a great experience with home feel, despite the luxurious touches.
Atacama – Tierra Atacama
The architecture, the interiors, the grounds and the SPA of Tierra Atacama were designed by local professionals with an aim of preserving local cultural influences and creating a place for guests to relax. If you have not been to Chile before, be sure to try the local signature cocktail: the Pisco Sour.
Atacama – Casa Atacama
From Casa Atacama, you can explore the streets of the town, the shops and the restaurants like a local. Casa Atacama belongs to the NOI Hotels Chain. After touring the desert dunes and the peaks of the Andean High Altipiano, you will need a good rest and Casa Atacama looks like the perfect place.
Atacama – Explora Atacama
The lodge of Explora Atacama historically was the go to lodge, but recently guests and ourselves have decided the time has come for a refit and also their uninterested customer service needs a change. The Explora Atacama was the ultimate destination to enjoy these pristine landscapes, but no longer as other lodges are better. Due to a fire in October 2015, it will be closed until January 2017.
PATAGONIA – TORRES DEL PAINE
Patagonia – Torres del Paine – Explora Torres del Paine
The most luxurious hotel in the Torres del Paine Park, Explora is stylish, comfortable and offers an inclusive package with full board and many options for excursions out. Few hotels in the world offer as stunning a view as does Explora, perched above the milky turquoise waters of Lake Pehoé and facing the dramatic granite amphitheater of the Paine Massif.
Patagonia – Torres del Paine – Tierra Patagonia
The award winning architecture complements the flow of the geology in this very privileged location and showcases the magnificent views over the Torres del Paine National Park. Wood clad walls emanate warmth, safety and protection: a very cozy hideaway after a day spent discovering the amazing outdoors of Patagonia.
Easter Island – Explora Rapa Nui
Explora Rapa Nui is a wonderful lodge. The sky lights up like a disco at night, with stars shooting down like raindrops. The hotel’s architecture is stylish, but at the same time rough and ready, with thick stone pillars of volcanic rock and unpolished unpainted wood.
Easter Island – Hare Noi
The Hare Noi represents the cultur of Easter Island in her entire splendour. It offers a very delicious restaurant, where you can enjoy genuine and authentic cuisine. For relaxation, the hotel has an excellent swimming pool, a natural solarium, a gorgeous terrace and very good tour service to travel and discover the culture of the Rapa Nui.
